The Republic of Kosovo is a Balkan country in Southeastern Europe, and its capital is Pristina (Prishtina). It shares its borders with four countries; Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Albania. Kosovo is the smallest country in the Balkans and also the second poorest country in Europe. However, it is one of, if not the cheapest, of all European countries. Its population comprises 93% Muslim ethnic Albanians, 6% Eastern Orthodox Serbians, and 1% Bosniaks, Gorans, Turks, and Roma. Maybe that is why the Albanian flag is most prominent on display throughout the city. Although not recognized as an independent state by all nations, it does not change the fact that Kosovo the youngest country in Europe is an independent country. It is a low-keyed, off-the-beaten-track tourist destination, and a golden find for the adventurous and budget traveller.
Welcome to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, specifically to its capital Amsterdam. Amsterdam is favoured for its open-minded policies and Red Light District (De Wallen). This article will share some tips and information from my visit to Amsterdam home to the Red Light District (as I like to refer to it) and, might I add, cannabis-filled air. None can compete or compare with Amsterdam. Please continue reading and share the article if you find it helpful.

It is a four hours’ train ride away from Rome if you use the slower, cheaper train at almost 50€, or the faster train at under two hours for almost double the price. Keep reading and I will disclose to you the reasons for my title, Italy – surprised by Rome Amazed by Florence.

Why not visit Chisinau Moldova!? This is my question to many. I have been asked the same rather weird question by many people, why are you going to Moldova or where is it? In transiting through another European country, the Immigration Officer said to me “what’s in Moldova why are you going there?” His female colleague also agreed with his sentiments, then she said to be sure to try the Bucuria (chocolate candies). I quickly jotted down the name, because, for this recommendation from another country, I thought…it must be good, the male officer also concurred.
